This policy explains what personal data 404Solutions collects through this website, why we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Contact form and email. When you use the form on our Contact page or write to us, we receive your name, email address and message, plus your company and phone number if you choose to add them.
Technical and usage data. Our hosting server records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of the visit and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site working. We also measure visits with Independent Analytics, a WordPress plugin that works without cookies and keeps the statistics on our own server, without sharing them with third parties.
Client projects. If you become a client, we also process the contact and billing details needed to deliver the service and issue invoices.
To answer your message and prepare a personalized quote (steps taken at your request before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To deliver the services we agree on and manage our relationship with clients (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To keep the website secure and working properly (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
This website uses one strictly necessary cookie (cc_cookie) to remember your cookie choice. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can review or change your choice at any time from the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of the page. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, they will only load with your consent, and we will update this policy.
We only share data with providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
Hosting and email provider, which stores this website and handles our email on servers in the European Union.
Google, whose email services we use to receive and answer messages. This may involve a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Font and script providers (Google Fonts and unpkg.com) that deliver the fonts and code used to display this website. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address.
Public authorities, when the law requires it.
The websites shown in our portfolio belong to our clients. When you open them, their own privacy policies apply.
Messages and quote requests are kept as long as needed to answer you and follow up on your request. If we work together, we keep project and billing data for the duration of the contract and for the retention periods required by Romanian law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@404solutions.ro. We will reply within one month, as required by the GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
We use HTTPS encryption on the whole website, keep WordPress and its plugins up to date and limit access to personal data to the people who need it.
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
